This intermediate trek takes us through varied landscapes of flora and fauna to the foot of the world's third highest peak, the mighty Kanchenjunga. The tiny state of Sikkim in the north of India between Nepal and Bangladesh is proud to have the world's third highest peak which has remained virgin and unconquered despite many attempts.
Our trek starts and ends at Yuksom via mountain paths that take us to the Goecha La at 5000 metres, and where we can stare Kanchenjunga straight in the face. The stunning views along the whole route will leave all visitors gasping for words and struggling to do the images justice with their cameras. A visit to Sikkim would be incomplete without a visit to Darjeeling and Kalimpong, the two towns of British Raj, and of course the world famous tea gardens
Trip runs during October, November and April only
